He has been appointed Honorary Trade Commissioner for the India SCO Trade Council in the United Arab Emirates, recognizing his sustained contribution to international trade facilitation and economic cooperation.

In his professional career, Mr. Goyal has worked closely with businesses, institutions, and trade bodies to promote transparent, compliant, and sustainable cross-border trade frameworks, aligning private-sector engagement with broader economic diplomacy objectives. His experience includes active engagement with ASEAN FTA, GCC, LDC, and multilateral trade mechanisms, supporting responsible market access and collaboration.

Mr. Goyal is the Founder and Promoter of the Sunshine Group of Companies, a diversified multinational enterprise operating across India, the UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Africa, with interests in renewable energy, agro-industrial ventures, pharmaceutical ingredients, petrochemical derivatives, infrastructure development, and global supply-chain solutions.

As Honorary Trade Commissioner, he works in a facilitative and advisory capacity, supporting institutional dialogue, business delegations, and economic cooperation between India, the UAE, and the SCO region.
